Top national law firm is looking for an experienced Paralegal for its Tallahassee, Florida location. The firm offers a laid back culture and very friendly environment, as well as casual wear in-office.

Qualifications include:

• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation is a plus.
• A college degree and/or Paralegal certification is preferred.
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a successful litigation team.
• Must have excellent organization skills, be able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision, and be detail-oriented.
• Must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude.

Preferred Experience Includes:

• Supporting Attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials; drafting various legal documents including subpoenas and pleadings.
• Meeting all applicable deadlines while assisting in case analysis.
• E-filing with both State and Federal Courts.
• Summarizing client medical and billing records.
• Summarizing depositions and managing cases from cradle to grave.

Salary range is $52K – 58K based on experience. Firm offers a competitive benefits package and PTO.

Experience:

• civil litigation paralegal: 2 years (Preferred)
• Insurance Defense Paralegal: 3 years (Preferred)
