We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in Employment Law Litigation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on employment law issues, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and employee benefits.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and participate in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on employment-related matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Assist in the negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements and other legal documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
- Stay current with developments in employment law and related areas of practice.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Actively barred and in good standing with the state of Alabama
- 4-6 years of experience practicing employment law, with a focus on litigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to work effectively with businesses and corporate clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to excellence and client service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Experience with electronic discovery and legal research platforms preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
