Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload averaging 50-75 cases
- Draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery, and various motions, prepare trial documents and assist with trial preparation
- Effectively communicate with clients, counsel, experts, and courts
- Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subrogation liens)
- Accurately maintain case management data. Experience with FileVine is a PLUS
Experience
- 3+ years of experience with personal injury law involving motor vehicle collisions preferred (experience in defense okay as well)
- Proficient in preparing discovery responses
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation
- Trucking litigation experience preferred
- Strong trucking paralegals with a knowledgeable background in the states of Texas, Illinois, and Georgia
Education Requirements
- College degree or comparable paralegal certification and experience
