National personal injury law firm specializing in motor vehicle accidents is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal for their Dallas, TX office.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage a case load of 50-75 cases
• Accurately draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery and various motions
• Communicate with clients continually, experts, counsel, and courts
• Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subrogation liens)
• Accurately maintain case management data in Needles (case management database)
• Prepare trial documents and assist with trial preparation

Desired Skills & Experience

• Must be experienced and proficient in personal injury law involving motor vehicle collisions
• Timely & proficient in preparing discovery responses
• Detail oriented mindset with a focus on grammar and language arts
• Professional appearance and positive mentality
• Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation
• Trucking experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Must have exceptional written & verbal communication skills on the phone, in person and email
• Excellent with time management, multi-tasking, and critical thinking abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Case Management software (Needles preferred)

Education Requirements

• College degree or comparable paralegal certification and experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required in a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm, 5+ years experience preferred

Salary & Compensation

• Salary range is between $55,000-$90,000 and is based on experience
